I AM A PROMOTER AND WOULD LIKE TO BOOK CITIZENS WORK, WHERE CAN I FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR TOURING THEATRE?
I HAVE WRITTEN A PLAY AND WOULD LIKE YOU TO PRODUCE IT. TO WHOM SHOULD I SEND THIS?
Unfortunately our Artistic Directors do not have enough time to read all unsolicited scripts. You can however send scripts to the address below:
c/o Citizens Theatre
119 Gorbals Street
Glasgow, G5 9DS
Please note that due to the high volume of enquiries we receive we cannot guarantee a personal response.
If you are Scottish or Scotland-based, your play can also be sent to Fuse (who read on behalf of most Scottish theatre companies). NB. The Traverse Theatre read their own scripts.
Scottish Playwrights Studio Scotland
350 Sauchiehall Street
Glasgow, G2 3GD
I WOULD LIKE TO GET INVOLVED AND GIVE ACTING A GO. WHAT CAN YOU OFFER?

CAN YOU GIVE ME INFO ABOUT ARCHIVE PRODUCTIONS AT THE THEATRE?
Our record of past Citizens productions extends back to 1969. All material related to productions prior to this are now held by the Scottish Theatre Archive (part of their Special Collections department) at the University of Glasgow. Most of TAG’s archive is also held here.
I’M NOT SURE WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I GET TO THE THEATRE. CAN YOU HELP?
You can familiarise yourself with the theatre through our virtual tours of the venues and foyer. You can read Access information here or alternatively call the Box Office on 0141 429 0022 who will be happy to answer any further queries.
