Dear, Sir/Madam I am interested in taking part in the night school as i have just finished the ETA course at the RSAMD. However I am 21 just now and see that this course is for over 22, would I still be able to take part? Is there someone I should be contacting directly? Thanks for any help you can offer. Hi Kimberley, I will pass your comment on to our project co-ordinator for consideration. The reason we say 22+, is simply that we provide drama classes for 4-15s, Young Co. for 16-21s and Nightschool for 22+. I can see that at 21 already you are unlikely to join Young Co. for such a short space of time. We'll get back to you directly if there's space.

Hi, I'm 27 and keen on joining a theatre group/acting class on a beginner level. I noticed that the term has already started. Can you please advise me of dates for next term? Thanks, Louise Mclellan

My daughter and i just missed out on the beginners nightschool course for the Autumn term. I would really appreciate it if you could send an e-mail when you are enroling for the next session. Kind Regards Eleanor Keilt

4th November 2009

Hi Eleanor, unfortunately we can't send reminder emails to individuals. Nightschool offers a priority booking period for current attenders and therefore demand is exceedingly high. We hope to put the Spring 2010 season of shows and classes on sale to the public on Mon 30 November 2009. I'd advise that you pop this in your calendar and get on the phone as close to 10am as possible. Fingers crossed!

Hiya, i am wondering if the classes are certificated and if there is a fee waiver for those on a low income? Best wishes Angela

Helen

19th November 2009

Hi Angela, the courses are not part of any SQA modules or similar, they are simply for fun. We offer concession prices to anyone from the following groups: Senior Citizens, Disabled, Students and Unwaged.

Hello! What dates will the Summer Term be on sale? I've been looking to do some acting for fun for ages, and this is perfect as I can walk to the Citz from my flat! I know they will be in high demand, so if you have the summer date for level one, I'll mark it in my calander to phone the day they go on sale! Many Thanks Fiona

hello everyone, I am interested in the acting classes and I have already attended drama classes and workshops in italy at the time of university. in order to understand which group i should join do i need to come for an audition or i can already book on line? thanks a lot, and hope to see you soon.

Helen

7th December 2009

Hi Ester, Our drama classes are open to people of all abilities and frequently do encompass classes with mixed experience. Either Level 1 or 2 would be suitable for you, although it probably makes sense to start at 1. We don't offer online booking for Nightschool, so please call the Box Office to book a place on 0141 429 0022. There is no audition required.

Hi. I am 23. I have a disability that affects my mobility although I am not in a wheelchair. I am interested in taking acting classes for beginners to help build my confidence. I have always liked the idea of acting since I took drama classes at school. I have just always been a little afraid that my disability would be a problem and that has held me back. Do you think that your nightschool would be suitable for me?

I am thinking of taking acting lessons and wondered if the Level 1 class is for all ages or is it mostly young people that come along? Regards Caroline

Helen

All classes are attended by a range of ages. As a past participant, this is definitely one of the things that makes the classes so much fun. It's great to work with a wide variety of ages and abilities.
