On the Rim of the World

Learning

Do you enjoy singing?

We’d like you to take part in an exciting new family opera at the Citizens Theatre in partnership with Scottish Opera. On the Rim of the World with music by Orlando Gough, written by Jehane Markham is an evocative family journey inspired by memories of childhood, sleep and the magical power of dreaming.

A Citizens community cast, featuring 30 children* and 20 adults, accompanied by Scottish Opera’s Connect Orchestra, will perform the piece on the Citizens main stage in February 2011.

We need you

Rehearsals are underway, however…

we are still looking for 7 adults and 7 children.

Could that be you?
Come and join the fun!
