In 2010, Citizens Learning delivered two multi-artform projects in Scottish Prisons, as part of the Scottish Arts Council funded Inspiring Change initiative. The first brought drama and arts to female prisoners in HMP Greenock.

Citizens Learning re-run its successful new drama scheme for adults on long term incapacity benefit and those who are unemployed.

The Citizens Theatre has had a long term relationship with Social Work Services and Glasgow Life. The Citizens Learning team, with guest artists have run regular workshops at Inglefield Women’s Homeless Unit. Over the past 3 years the residents have participated in drama, creative writing, film-making, visual art and song-writing and recording.

The Citizens Learning team are teaching on the BA Community Arts course at the University of Strathclyde, leading the third year students for their Community Drama module.

Platform 2:10 is a performance project in HMP Barlinnie delivered in partnership with Motherwell College. This is the second multi-artform project that Citizens Learning has delivered in Scottish Prisons this year, as part of the Scottish Arts Council funded Inspiring Change initiative.

On the Rim of the World with music by Orlando Gough, written by Jehane Markham is an evocative family journey inspired by memories of childhood, sleep and the magical power of dreaming.
