In partnership with East Lothian Arts and the Citizens Advice Bureau, we will be working with up to 270 P5 children in East Lothian primary schools in February-March 2012. Classes will receive a series of 4 drama workshops exploring the practical and emotional consequences of managing and mis-managing money.
Each session focuses on one member of a fictional family who struggle with money, with the pupils getting to experience the characters’ situations and explore their financial choices. The project aims to encourage this young group of children to make good financial choices now and in the future.
