Glow - Don’t Start Me!
TAG
TAG was chosen as one of only 10 arts organisations in Scotland to deliver a Co-Create project using Glow which is the world’s first national intranet for education, developed exclusively for Scotland’s educational community. The main purpose of Glow is to enhance the quality of learning and teaching in the classroom by fully supporting Curriculum for Excellence (CfE).
TAG worked in partnership with Strathclyde Police to deliver a multi-artform interactive project in 20 different Glasgow primary schools. The project explored the origins of violent and criminal behaviour and is aimed at P3 and P4 pupils. The children saw a live professional theatre production, took part in drama workshops and got a ‘behind the scenes’ look at how a play is made by taking part in live video conferencing, direct from their classrooms into the Citizens Theatre. They also created artwork and films which were added to Glow as a future resource for teachers and pupils all over Scotland.
