Community Residencies
What we do
We love getting out into our local community and hearing people tell us their stories in their own spaces. We take time to build trust and break down assumptions about what theatre is and who it is for. We want to reach groups who might not otherwise engage with theatre.
Each project is unique. Creative activities might include song writing, sewing and visual art. We work in close partnership with third sector organisations to make sure we’re meeting the individual needs of participants.
We want to inspire communities to make and share work they are proud of.
All We Can Do
This project is for women navigating the challenges caused by homelessness, the criminal justice system, addiction and poverty.
Our creative workshops take place ‘in residence’ with frontline service organisations. They offer creative spaces where individuals can explore the issues that impact their lives together.
This work expands our long and rich history of working with women’s groups in the community.
