When will the theatre reopen? 

We expect that our doors will reopen in spring 2025 – keep an eye on our social channels for all the latest information. 

Can I view a seating plan and buy tickets? 

Not just yet, everything is being prepared behind the scenes and tickets for our new season will go on sale just as soon as things are ready. 

How can I support the redevelopment? 

We’d love it if you could help us – find out more in our Support section. 

How do I get closer to the theatre while it is closed? 

Join our vibrant community of theatre lovers. Members will enjoy a range of benefits including priority booking and invitations to exclusive events. If you join before 1 September 2024 you’ll be invited to a special guided tour of the new Citizens Theatre as part of our reopening events. 

I would like to join a class or workshop?

Are drama classes for children resuming? 

As we are out of our own building at present, we have had to pause these classes for now. It is planned that these will return when we reopen the building. 

How do I dedicate a seat?

Is it possible to hire the venue? 

We are currently not taking any bookings, but our Venue hire page will contain more info just as soon as it is available.
