Devising with Young People

Are you a theatre-maker looking to expand your practice? Across Assemble, we’re hosting several workshops aimed at supporting skills development for professional practitioners.  

This workshop will be facilitated by Jess Thorpe (Glass Performance, Scotland) and will offer attendees a range of practical and adaptable insights into the art of making theatre with young companies. There will be a particular focus on devising with young people, ensuring shared authorship is at the heart of the practice, and exploring how projects can safely reflect the lived experiences of the people at the centre of the work.
