As part of our reopening and first year back in action, the Citizens Theatre is thrilled to join Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival – your chance to explore one of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks after its recent transformation.

You’ll find out more about our fantastic new facilities, past productions, backstage secrets and how the magic of theatre happens today. Spot architectural details from our Victorian past and learn about our cutting-edge present.

As a working building some backstage areas may not be accessible due to pre-show preparations. If guided tours are full, you can also pop in for a quick look around the front of house areas during our opening hours.
