What we’re reading

This term we are exploring A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller.

Neil Packham, our Community Drama Director, shared why he chose this play:

“I know we’re going to have a great time looking at A View from the Bridge this term. It has all the elements that make for a compelling story: strong characters, intense emotions, and a lot of tension. It’s about family, loyalty, and justice, and it shows how things can quickly spiral out of control when people’s actions clash with their values.”

You will need a copy in advance of the first session. We will be using the Penguin Classics 2015 edition of the play (ISBN: 978-0141189963). It can be bought from a range of online stores including World of Books, Waterstones and WHSmith.

Interested in joining the group from the comfort of your own home? Join our morning online sessions instead!
