Are you sitting comfortably? Everyone wants to look their best and the Citizens is no different!
The seats in our main auditorium have become increasingly worn. They are in fact over 20 years old. Plans are underway to replace all of these seats. We will, in the future, look to undertake a full restoration of the theatre, but see the comfort of our audience as our first priority.
We take great pride in our rich history and our importance as a Glasgow institution, and we want to ensure that you are sitting comfortably for every performance at the theatre. We know how important our iconic theatre is to the people of Glasgow and we hope you will show your support for this vital campaign over the next 2 years.
