Scottish Casting Network

Scottish Casting Network is a commitment from 6 theatre buildings in Scotland to hold one open casting workshop every two years.  This means there will be three open casting workshops held in Scotland every year in perpetuity.

Who is eligible to apply?

SCN’s priority is professional actors living in Scotland. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Have a base in Scotland
• Have a Spotlight profile.
• Have professional acting training or demonstrate sufficient professional credits.
• Have not attended a Scottish Casting Network workshop in the past two years

The Citizens Theatre is the host venue for the next Scottish Casting Network workshop on 21 April 2026.
