An evening of fresh ideas and exciting new work from artists of South Asian heritage.
This showcase brings together four artists presenting 10–15 minute pieces of work in development. With no restrictions on genre or theme, the evening celebrates artistic exploration and creates a space for artists to test new ideas and discover what resonates with a live audience.
New Sauce Scratch Night is curated and presented by South Asian Artists in Scotland (SAIS), a grassroots initiative dedicated to championing artists of South Asian heritage through connection, collaboration, and opportunity. Founded by creatives Niloo-Far Khan and Kal Sabir, SAIS seeks to strengthen and amplify South Asian creative voices across Scotland’s cultural landscape.
This event offers an exciting platform for emerging and established artists alike, while inviting audiences to be part of the creative process.

Auditorium Space
This show takes place in our Studio Theatre.
The Studio space has retractable seating. There is no handrail, and row A is the only row with level access. Wheelchair users can book a wheelchair position in row A.
Hearing aid induction loops are available.
Venue Information
The Studio Theatre is on the ground floor of the Citizens Theatre.
We have a small car park with four blue badge spaces.
