An Tobar and Mull Theatre present
Night Waking
13 – 16 May 2026
Event details
Anna Bennett is this close to losing it. She’s not sleeping. She’s not writing. She’s barely mothering. And then she and her son find something in the garden—something small, something wrapped in secrets, something that makes the past feel very present.
A darkly funny and unsettling one-woman play, Night Waking explores history, motherhood, and the ghosts we carry. Adapted by Shireen Mula from Sarah Moss’s novel, it’s a gripping, sharp-witted, and quietly devastating look at the stories we inherit—and the ones we’d rather not uncover.
