Young Makers (Block 1)
22 Aug - 03 Oct 2026
Event details
Young Makers is a fun and inclusive theatre group for learning disabled and/or neurodivergent young people aged 14-18.
The sessions are tailored to ensure that each individual has space to be themselves whilst playing games, telling stories, and creating theatre. It’s a space to make friends, build confidence, and explore your creativity.
Block 1 (Aug-Oct) is a great time to come for the first time, as we will be exploring with new ideas and spending time getting to know everyone.
Come and be part of something special – where your voice and imagination take centre stage.
Interested in joining?
If you’re interested in taking part, we encourage you to contact Young Makers Co-ordinator Morna McGeoch, learningprojects@citz.co.uk to organise a trial session or talk through what you might require to thrive when entering the group. Morna can provide more information about the group, available facilities and access.
On sale at 10am on Wednesday 08 July.
Places must be booked ahead of the first session. If you are booking for more than one child then please book in separate transactions. A separate booking is required per attendee to make sure we have the correct details of the young person attending.
