Head of Buildings and Facilities

As we approach the completion of a multi-year redevelopment of our building, we are looking to appoint a resourceful and experienced Head of Buildings and Facilities to oversee its safe and efficient operation. This is a new role and will be pivotal to the successful delivery of the reopening of the Citizens Theatre.

In the lead up to works being completed on site, you will have the opportunity to devise new systems and ways of working as we learn how to operate and make the most of our fantastic new facilities.

Our ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager in a premium asset building as well as a recognised Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent. Relevant knowledge and experience of Health and Safety practices and legislation is essential. Experience of working in a new build property and a good understanding of sustainability issues is desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the reopening of one of Scotland’s leading producing theatres.
