Our big Christmas show for 2011. An original twist on the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale. Christmas at the Citizens brings inventive storytelling accompanied by original live music in an intimate theatre where everyone can feel part of the story. LITTLE ULLA

Little Ulla is a mountain goat. Just like all the other little goats, she likes jumping in the snow and the ticking sound of clocks, rolling down the hill and scoffing apple strudel! Little Ulla is a 50 minute interactive Christmas Show specially created for little ones, with puppets, music and song.

The Citizens Community Company return with their seasonal satirical glance at all the things we love to hate about Christmas. A laugh out loud escape from the festive madness and a very special night out for adults only.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
We are holding a brand new Citz Christmas Craft Fair on Sun 11 December. Just in time for Christmas, you’ll be able to can buy vintage artwork from the Citizens archive and quirky handmade Christmas gifts from 11am-5pm in the foyer. If you’d like to sell your own hand-made items, you can apply online here.
FOYER FUN
Our Christmas foyer will be richly decorated, so that the fun starts the moment you arrive! There will be Christmas tunes a-plenty, plus free badges and bookmarks. We will also have a range of festive merchandise on sale at reasonable prices. We love seeing all the fancy-dress costumes at Christmas, so don’t be afraid to go for it!
GETTING HERE
Some of you may be visiting for the first time. Please note the car park gets very full at this time of year, so try to get here nice and early. For directions visit the Find Us page. If you’re driving please note that you can only access the car park via Crown Street & Laurieston Road (at the back of the building). There is no access to the car park via Gorbals Street (the front).
