New Sauce Scratch Night

South Asian Artists in Scotland are seeking proposals from four artists of South Asian heritage to showcase 10–15 minute extracts of new work for their New Sauce Scratch Night at the Citizens Theatre on 08 October. This is a chance for artists to share a new idea and see what works in front of a live audience.

All forms of storytelling are welcome – theatre, performance, music, movement, spoken word, comedy, film or something completely different. There are no restrictions on genre or theme; bold, playful, and experimental ideas are encouraged.

South Asian Artists in Scotland is a new volunteer grassroots labour of love run by creatives Niloo-Far Khan and Kal Sabir. Its goals are to champion artists of South Asian heritage through connections, collaborations, and call-outs, and to build bridges with existing networks and platforms in Scotland.

This event is curated and presented by South Asian Artists in Scotland in association with National Theatre of Scotland and Citizens Theatre.
