Young Artists is a dynamic and inspiring theatre group focused on performance and theatre-making. Participants develop stage presence, performance-making methods, and ensemble skills all while building confidence and communication skills.
Led by professional theatre-makers, this group is ideal for those who are passionate about drama, or would like to try performing for the first time. Across the block groups will explore devised, scripted and non-text-based work, with the Young Artists always encouraged to widen their insights into the diverse range of skills that theatre happen.
Block 1 (Aug-Oct) is a great time to join for the first time, as we will be exploring with new ideas and spending time getting to know everyone.
These sessions are for those in Secondary 1 – 3.
On sale at 10am on Wednesday 08 July.
Places must be booked ahead of the first session. If you are booking for more than one child then please book in separate transactions. A separate booking is required per attendee to make sure we have the correct details of the young person attending.

Our Young Artists programme focuses on building performance skills and providing a space to develop who you could be as a theatre-maker. We run four blocks throughout the year.
Block 1 (Aug-Oct) and Block 2 (Oct-Dec) are focused on developing ensemble skills, building up individual confidence and exploring different methods of theatrical play.
Block 3 (Jan-Mar) and Block 4 (Apr-Jun) continue to focus on play and experimentation. There is an additional focus on crafting performance, looking ahead to the end-of-year sharing. This work speaks to the ideas and interests of the group members.
We have three sign-up opportunities each year:

- Block 3 (Jan-Mar) and Block 4 (Apr-Jun) on sale in November
