Hi Lesley, the competition is open to state schools within the Glasgow City local authority. Heads of Drama or English are sent letters each year to invite applications.

I am a secondary Drama teacher who thinks this looks like a great event. How can schools enter?

So good I saw it twice - each time form a different angle. A fabulous drama with excellent acting. I still want to know what happened next...

Incredible performances last night from all three players. I got a real sense of watching a living photo frame; broken and fractured...(and only break the illusion at the end when the performers take their bows, stepping out of the frame) the only interactions being the words, the stories themselves. An amazingly intense play lifted with brilliant Irish humour. O'Rowe has created a really masterful piece of writing here.

Looks great my dad is going to see the play today and good luck to Amanda who directed me in the play The Golden Mask Of Agamemnon at Pace Theatre School the trailer looks great and I can't wait to hopefully see it.

Last night was an outstanding performance. The writing by Mark O'Rowe was stunning .I have never seen anything like this before and I had no idea what to expect but if you don't see then you will regret it .The writing was simply indescribable. Truly outstanding. The cast were simply Divine! You have to see this!

We had a fantastic evening and this was great entertainment but not for the prudish! We laughed and laughed. More adventure like this please. R

I could not rave enough about "After the End"! Absolutely wonderful acting from both leads, an edge of your seat thriller and laughs too! A must see!

I'd like to say what a fantastic production. I saw the Laurel and Hardy play on Saturday night, and was facinated. What excellent mimicry by both of the actors, what a great take on the story, and what a fantastic production. I came with two other adults and two cildren and three of my party didnt know anything about them, or had even seen them, and they laughed as much as me and my partner who were brought up on their films. Can you please let me know if they are touring this production, and where? Thank you to Alasdair and Barrie.

I am most disappointed that the laurel and hardy show was so bad that my mother and father in law left at the interval along with quite a few others. The two men were as heavy as each other and were not in the least funny. I am gutted as this is one of there old favorites, and I purchased the tickets early so as to get a good view for them and to make matters worse it was a 75th birthday gift.

Absolutely fantastic! I tip my hat (Bowler) to Alasdair McCrone and Barrie Hunter, they have Babe and Stan to a tee. Entertaining, funny and moving. Words cannot describe how enjoyable this was. I had a tear in my eye as they performed the dance routine from Way out West. I'm a huge Laurel & Hardy fan and this just hits the mark.

I can't remember laughing so much since I was a child (I'm 63). And the whole theatre was laughing too. Very well done!

This was a terrific show which even the 2 yr old was keep intrigued by ( most of the time anyway) At firstsI was disappointed it was puppets but then realised how imaginative it was and how much the puppeteers put into it. The children also loved the bubbles and the butterflies raining down. Well done Citizens - anyone who is dithering and has the chance- go!

Hello, was browsing your site whan I came across this fab idea! I'm loving the notion of a comunity based performance based on the Glasgow Fair and wondered if I can help at all? I'm the Assistnat Mangaer for Information and Culture in sunny North Ayrshire which means I look after Libraries, Museums and Art Centres ( amoungst many other things! )and the traditional Doon The Watter Towns of Largs, Saltcoats and Stevenston are all in our area! WE have a latrge collection of nostalgic photos, postcards etc etc of the area and Id be keen to see if we could tie up with your production. Whether through the items we have, connecting you with some of the local people who made their living from the summer trade, connecting with the local community based Fair Festival ( The Queen of the Sea ) or possibly offering a venue to perform the show here in Ayrshire I would really like to be involved in some way that might benefit your production. Please please get in touch with your thoughts. Lesley
